All The Bright Places.

by: Jennifer Niven.

All the Bright PlacesSynopsis:

Theodore Finch is fascinated by death, and he constantly thinks of ways he might kill himself. But each time, something good, no matter how small, stops him.

Violet Markey lives for the future, counting the days until graduation, when she can escape her Indiana town and her aching grief in the wake of her sister’s recent death.

When Finch and Violet meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school, it’s unclear who saves whom. And when they pair up on a project to discover the “natural wonders” of their state, both Finch and Violet make more important discoveries: It’s only with Violet that Finch can be himself—a weird, funny, live-out-loud guy who’s not such a freak after all. And it’s only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet’s world grows, Finch’s begins to shrink.

This is an intense, gripping novel perfect for fans of Jay Asher, Rainbow Rowell, John Green, Gayle Forman, and Jenny Downham from a talented new voice in YA, Jennifer Niven.

  1. I bought this book awhile ago and I can’t wait to start reading it. I heard a movie version of it was made so hopefully I’ll get around to reading it soon. Currently reading the sequel to You by Caroline Kepnes.

    • So rude of me totally forgot to reply!
I didn’t even know there was a movie until literally like 3 days ago. 😂
I really want to read that book! It’s in my TBR list! Let me know if it’s worth it 💕

      • No worries, LoL =).

Yeah, I heard about the movie version awhile ago and it seems to have taken awhile to actually get made. I can’t wait to see the movie, but I like to read a book before it gets that adaptation treatment. And I usually change my mind like a hundred times before I actually decide on what to read next, so I’ll probably miss it in the theaters, LoL.

I’m currently reading the sequel to You and I think I decided on reading The Picnic at Hanging Rock next, but maybe afterwards I’ll read All The Bright Places. I’m actually trying to stick with my reading list lately, so here’s hoping I actually do and not be so indecisive, LoL.

      • I literally just finished reading it. I loved it! 😍 I hope you like it too when you get the chance to read it.
Now I can’t wait to watch the movie!

I heard so much good things about You! It’s in my tbr list, I hope I get to read it soon.
I always ending up not sticking to my tbr 🤦🏽‍♀️.
My next to read will be the sequel of An American Family by Jackson Baer. I think he’s a newly author. He sent me free early copies of his books.

      • You was such a great thriller, maybe the best book I’ve ever read. I mean it was incredibly twisted and crazy, LoL, but so good. And the TV adaptation has been so far the perfect book to tv transition of the book. Definite recommend of both book and show!
